University of Luxembourg Scholarships

Would you like to study in the European Union without taking the IELTS exam? The University of Luxembourg Scholarships for 2024 are now accepting applications in Luxembourg. Applying for a Luxembourg University scholarship is open to all international students worldwide. Candidates are urged to apply if they wish to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the EU. IELTS is not required in order to apply to this university for admission. The Luxembourg Scholarships’ primary goal is to assist students in pursuing higher education in Europe and realizing their aspirations.

Many scholarships are available from the university to citizens of both EU and non-EU nations. Each scholarship’s details are listed below:

Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship:

  • The stipend amounts to €10,000 per academic year for up to 2 years
  • Part of the scholarship is used to finance the student’s accommodation in a university residence for the duration of the Master programme, up to a maximum of EUR 650/month for a maximum of two years and the remaining part is an amount paid in instalments at the beginning of each semester for a maximum of two years.
  • The scholarship is subject to performance evaluation and may be withheld, for example, in the case of academic misconduct, poor academic performance or withdrawal from the master’s programme.
  • Tuition fees are not included in the scholarship.
  • The scholarship cannot be cumulated with any other type of grant financed by the Luxembourg government, or a similar scholarship funded by a private sponsor.

Lea Sinner Scholarship for EU citizens: 

  • Degree level: Bachelor / Master
  • 30.000€ per year, divided among up to 6 candidates.

Qualifications

For Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship:

  • International applicants both from EU and non-EU countries applying to a master’s degree.
  • Only Master programmes that run their two-year programme in Luxembourg. Master programmes that have a mandatory semester or year abroad are not eligible.
  • Excellent academic performance during undergraduate studies
  • Full time students
  • Non-beneficiaries of Luxembourg’s State Financial Aid for Higher Education

For Léa Sinner Program:

  • Holders of a secondary school degree, or an equivalent
  • Not registered in a subsequent bachelor or master programme
  • Citizens of Luxembourg or from the European Union
  • Residing in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
  • Committed to undertake their studies at Bachelor’s or Master’s level at the University of Luxembourg
  • The family income of the candidates may not exceed the triple of the minimum income level

How To Apply

Applications for the 2024 University of Luxembourg Scholarships must be submitted online. Initially, candidates must enroll in a BS or MS degree program.
